dont you have to keep pinching yourself to realize how blessed you are? To think, how painful it all was months ago...and how now you're living the dream!!

I just love this photo - wish I had a place like this! You are smart to start out life knowing what you want! I am too entrenched in suburbia 25 years with a great husband, but one who can barely tolerate the small dog we have. Enjoy! Let me know if you need a hand some wknd with the animals! You could earn $ as a working farm B&B!?! -roe

Such a cutie! I just finished Made from Scratch and I appreciate so much your willingness to give information on what works and what doesn't. We set a goal of a more sustainable way of living last year and hope within 5 we are on our own land and no longer using containers to grow just our herbs. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am the new owner of five gold laced wyandottes (9 weeks old this week) and I have been leery of letting them roam around with my two bird-killing cats and part border collie. Your photo made me long to let the animals share the yard together. It happened this morning, by mistake, when I went out to change their water. And you know, they all worked it out! I still don't think I'd let all of them out "unchaperoned" but it ended up being much more peaceful than I imagined. Thanks a lot for the inspiration. You're an amazing woman.
