Just got a call from the realtor. The house is mine if I can aquire the funding. The sellers agreed to my terms and the contract goes through to the lawyer on the tenth. Now, it's all about the mortgage. Wish me luck.

It ain't over till its over! When we got our USDA loan this past fall it was touch and go but our mortgage broker worked on it till it happened. He was the second broker we worked with. The first broker didn't know that much about RD loans and just wrote us off as non-qualifying.

I'm trying to manifesting this for you - sounds amazing! My partner & I have just begun the process of looking for land to farm & homestead on. The Very Best of Luck, Jenna but....READ everything, don't let them rush you when it's time to sign. At some places you can ask for a copy of the forms, just without your figures on them, so you can take your time and see if you understand it all. Questions tend to get brushed off "Oh that's just blah, blah, blah" at closing time and in your excitement you could miss something that will be important to you down the line. That's also where not-so-nice people get you. I'm so excited for you, though, I feel that this one will work!!!!
