40 mph winds, 6+ inches, horrid roads, and a goat in the back of my Subaru...

Praise the powers that be for the Subaru! I miss the hell out of mine, and won't be without one if I ever make it back up north!
Can't wait to hear about your adventure, and how Finn's intro to his new foster home went.
Take it easy today.

Take care of your precious cargo! We're getting whopped by a blizzard here in southern Minnesota -- I'm glad I don't have to haul MY kind of cargo (harps) for a couple of days!

Can't wait for the update. We had 16 inches in Wisconsin so far.... and its blowing all over the place. 3 of our vehicles were stuck... They get that way in 16 inches of blowing snow when a husband is determined to go to work! Won't go there! Hope all is well and you can sit by your fire tonight and enjoy the peace that Winter brings.... blessings from Wisconsin... Dawn

Strangly enough, we broke a record here (Syracuse, NY). I think it was something like 288 days without measurable snow. This morning broke that record...not sure how many, but we got a couple of inches. Driving was crappy this morning, but by late morning, the temp went up enough that it was rain. Odd winter here in snow country...very odd...

We got about 3+ feet of snow here, in Flagstaff, AZ. It was ridiculous trying to dig our cars out two days in a row. Finals at NAU were canceled for the first time in over thirteen years. They called it a blizzard, but I've seen worse.

The "Big One" is on it's way. We got hammered with 18" of snow in one night. Typically a "big snow" for us is 2-5 inches.
