Just wanted to check in and update you folks on the watercolors. I have painted five, started three more, mailed three, and more are on the way. I can't do them as fast as I thought, and last week I didn't paint any (due to the fiasco). But now I'm back in my groove and wanted you folks to know I haven't forgotten you, and if you asked for one you can expect it in the next few weeks. I would like to have them done by Christmas. Thank you again, for all of you who took part in this. I also have a few just floating around I may post and see if anyone is interested in giving a home.
Jenna, I want to commission one, is it too late? I don't need it by any specific time. I would like one of chickens. Let me know how the process works, I can't remember from the older post. Thanks, Liz
Jenna, I read your book yesterday and it brought back so many memories of growing up. My mom taught me so many things about self sufficiency. I wish that I had paid more attention to the things like canning when we did that each year. My sister was a seamstress from a very young age. We didn't have money for fancy clothes, but my sister could see a blouse, dress, skirt or even a pair of pants or shorts she liked and without a pattern could cut the material and sew the same style clothing overnight. Sometimes on weekends she would sew two or three new shirts, skirts or dresses. She amazed me and she and my mom are missed very much. Thank you for a wonderful book and bringing back some great memories. God bless you. Karl
Your watercolors are very nice, Jenna. :-) Maybe you should think about opening something like an Etsy or Artfire shop with your work. You could make print as well. You defenetely have a lots of readers here who would be interested in this. Cheers!
Paint some number things related to CAF (say 10) and display them or, have a place like Borders Book Store (and others like it), Tractor Supply, Agway, your local feed store, antique store(s) etc. take them on consignment. I guess I'm saying, paint a bunch and get as many places to display (and sell) them as you can manage.
OR as it was mentioned before, put your work up on Etsy(super easy to set up. If i can do it anybody can)and post a link to your shop and make announcements every time you add a new painting(or object, photo of the farm or the critters, or a signed book, etc)I just opened my Etsy shop and made 3 sales in the first 2 days! It's really fun!

I'd love to know what your prices are for the watercolors, Jenna. I love the roosters and know of a perfect place for one of them.
