one down
One down, folks. This year has come to an end. If you've been following along with this story you've watched a lot happen in just 12 months. 2009 has been the most intense year of projects, gardens, writing, and homesteading here at Cold Antler. When I think about this past May, I still get tired. I just wanted to thank you for making my life a part of yours. Since last winter when Made From Scratch hit bookstores, this blog has grown from 100 hits a day to 2,000. It's grown from 2 blogger followers to over 400. I've hosted guests, workshops, fence building and music lessons. I've been part of people's honeymoons and weekend vacations. I've had the chance to write for websites and magazines and slowly, ever so slowly, am working towards my goal with the amazing witness of an audience to support and comfort me. You guys have gone from readers to friends, and become a part of my life. I've made relationships here and received gifts and feel like I grew a small network for when I get that farm. (Which I wil. It will just require some serious luck, saving, and more luck.) Point is, you've been amazing and have become the reason I write here. Knowing that people are checking in and keeping track, know my dogs names, and may say hello at a sheep shearing demo is why this blog exists. So I raise my mug of morning coffee to you, and with all I've got, thank you. Over and over.
I hope you stick around for 2010.

Best Wishes for the new year!
Thanks for sharing your courageous adventure with us.
Running through my mind as I read your post was the theme to Cheers: "Where everybody knows your name..." You've enabled the creation a terrific network, brought folks to a meeting place of like minds. A network of support. Many thanks and best wishes for 2010!
Thanks for sharing with us! Along the way you've inspired many folks and have many of them "cheering" you on. It never hurts to have a huge cheerleading section! Best in 2010.
We will be here for you in 2010. Thank you for letting us share your 2009. It's been fun!
Happy New Year Jenna to you and all of the critters on Cold Antler Farm. God bless.
You couldn't pry me away with a computer crash of (predicted) Y2K proportions, loss of all my bookmarks, and a new work schedule. Can't imagine what would keep me from checking in with you every day for the forseeable future.
You're kinda like the little sister I always wanted doing my dream job. I'm not jealous so much as I am invested. I really want to see you succeed big time!

Happy New Year! Can't wait to read more about ColdAntler Farm in 2010!
Happy New Year! I look forward to reading your blogs in 2010. Peace!
I marvel at the grandness and smallness of this world and how it all comes together on the internet. It boggles my mind that we can pop into your blog, Jenna, and discover the lovely and challenging details of your life... and equally important, get a glimmer of hope for our own. My place is very far away from yours, both geographically and weather-wise, but a night or two ago, we were looking at the same beautiful full moon. This strikes me on this new year's eve as something amazing and marvelous. It warms my heart and gives me hope.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. When I squint my eyes a little bit, I can see the outline of your farm in front of that big full moon. Keep the faith, girl.
Happy New Year Jenna! And all the best to you and the wonderful adventure ahead of you....it's been so fun reading about you, homesteading and your beautiful animals! Happy 2010!
Here's to a new year, may there be more ups then downs for us all!

A big Thank You! ColdAntlerFarm became the springboard to reading other great blogs - all of which improved my life this year. (Not that it is a bad life, it's just so much better.) I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog, and have often referred to it when talking with friends.
Best of luck in 2010, Jenna. There'll be more adventure on the way, I'm sure.

Happy New Year Jenna! I can't wait to see what 2010 brings for CAF.
I'll be starting mine reading Made from Scratch for the first time. I can't even begin to express how excited I am! I've been holding out for the new paperback(love that cover!)and my library didn't have it, so it's taken a long time to get my hands on it. I finally got it through an inter library loan, and the librarian thought it was so cool that she ordered 3 for the library inventory!
Thanks again for being such an inspiration. Blessings. :)
Thank you Jenna, for sharing your hopes and dreams and your world with us! You've inspired me to truly believe it can be done! :)
