It was snowing a little bit here in Syracyse NY tonight too! Alaska........I'd be happy to send you my snow anytime.

yeah for you! i know you have been awaiting the arrival... although i have to admit, i am quite enjoying the unseasonably warm 75 degrees here in OK!! sleep well tonight -- i love (on the VERY rare occasion that we get a measurable amount of snow here) how it muffles all sound... peace...

@Jamie- I don't know what part of Alaska you are in, but we have have snow in Delta Junction!

Jenna- *I LOVE the first snow! It just screams for a percolated coffee, a slice of pumpkin pie, and a good sewing project...AFTER catching snowflakes on your tongue!

Woot! It snowed, it hailed, it rained and sleeted, and it thundered all in the span of a few hours here yesterday. Definitely a great day to be home with a good book (Good Omens), my current knitting project (baby blanket for a friend who's expecting), and a mug of tea! :-)

Driving homw in it last night was not a treat, however it did make for some beautiful photos that I posted on my blog this morning. I LOVE the first snow of the season! Glad to see I'm not alone.

Yay for the snow... You should get a head lamp for morning/night time chores. Its a life saver because you have both hands free to do the stuff you need to get done and the light goes where ever your head turns.
