she's okay

Annie did have Lyme, like they thought. She is getting treated, and is supposed to make a near-full recovery. She's here with me at work today. Tonight she eat's lamb with her kibble. She'll be okay.

Thank you so much for your well wishes and kind words.

So happy to hear she's going to get better - it's so heart-wrenching when your dog is sick and can't tell you where it hurts. Have a wonderful, healing weekend.

Annie has been heavy on my heart all day, as have you. Worrying, praying, hoping all would be ok, and that you would post again so we would know. Thanks for lifting the darkness of the day. The thoughts for a completely well Sibe will continue, until you are not worried anymore.

Just got pointed to your blog today, and can't believe what I've been missing!

I'm glad your doggie is going to be okay. Sick pets are the worst.

Looking forward to reading further adventures in raising livestock and living the good life. :)

I'm so glad everything was caught in time and she will be better soon! I hope you will be, too. Heart-stopping moments are not exactly what you need when it comes to your loved ones -- human or canine.

Just caught up with the blog, these things happen so fast, hope that Annie continues to improve, Ticks are nasty things,The treatments are very good though if caught early enough.

Jenna~
I just completed your book and was shocked to find that you are such a young woman... the experiences you shared in the book made me feel as though I was sitting down to a cup of tea with a friend who had been living the "Made from Scratch" life for decades. I recently became a stay at home mom, and at age 30, I'm finding myself so interested in getting back to the basics. I found your book inspiring and now that I've bookmarked your blog, I plan to stay updated on what feels like the lifestyle of a long lost friend. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us!

Happy to know that Annie is ok too!

Such a heartwarming read :) I feel so stupid, I was not aware that humans are not the only ones susceptable to Lyme disease. We live in a heavily deer populated location, in fact, they visit the yard regularily and Lucy(our love) runs them off whenever given the opportunity. Happy she has not fallen victim to Lyme, will keep better vigil now.
