Rufus is the best looking rooster I've ever seen. No wonder he gets all the girls. But Rufus Wainwright as a Rooster's name? Isn't that slightly ironic?

One day, back when I lived in the northwoods, after I'd given up on living on the shore of Lake Superior, after I'd moved to "town", I had a gigantic rooster that looked a lot like Rufus walk through my backyard.
He stayed there for hours. I think 4 or 5 piano students saw him.
At that time, I had decided that all houses should have brightly colored doors, and all houses should have names independent of their owners. We decided to call my house Lost Rooster Cottage.
